Users may have noticed that while downloading files in Safari, the download progress dialog box appears, showing the progress and completion of their download. However, you cannot click and open the download files from this window. A useful shortcut is to control-click on the file in question and select "show in finder" in the window that appears. Once the finder window appears, you can open and move your downloaded file.
