The "Screen Capture" shortcut is a useful and easy utility for Mac users. Command-Shift-3 is the shortcut to capture the entire screen. Command-Shift-4 will give a crosshair cursor allowing the user to choose which area of the screen to be captured. Another useful shortcut is Control-Command-Shift-3 (or 4) which works the same as the previous commands, but instead of capturing a file to the desktop, the capture will go directly to the clipboard so it can be pasted into another location and/or application.
